Version 2.0.5 [6th October, 2009]:

Another bug was corrected and version 2.0.5 was issued.
Also a routine to join 3D Polylines was added (Not documented yet. Contact us for more details.). Editorial corrections made to manual.PDF.

Version 2.0.4 [not published]:

Small bug was corrected. Issued as version 2.0.5.

Version 2.0.3 [not published]:

  • Groove allowance in straight segments
    Importance:
    medium
    Found by: Li R&D internal audit, after a technical question by Mr. ATILA, Ivailo Ivanov, Bulgaria.
    Description: Trying to generate groove allowances for some figures lead to error messages and termination of program. For example, when the development has a certain length of short collinear segments [e.g., starting or ending sections of bends].
    Solution: Corrected in v.2.0.3 [issued as v.2.0.5]. Program formulas were corrected. And if [eventually] the error happens, that will not prevent the 2D contour to be generated, and the program will not crash.

Version 2.0.2 [8th May, 2009]:

Another bug was corrected and version 2.0.2 was issued.
  • Free profiles not in Z=0 plane
    Importance:

    Found by: Li R&D internal audit
    Description: 2D Polylines out of the Z=0 plane (or out of current CS), if picked for "free profiles" advanced feature, may lead to wrong 3D representation and to an erroneous 2D development.
    Solution: Corrected in v.2.0.2. Program only allows picking 2D Polylines that are in the Z=0 plane, in the current CS.

Version 2.0.1 [8th March, 2009]:

Two bugs found in version 2.0 were corrected and version 2.0.1 was issued.
  • Dialogues and messages in other Languages
    Importance:
    low
    Found by: Ricardo Borda Pulido and other Spanish speaking users.
    Description: Routine to change dialogue and message Language is not stable under certain combinations of AutoCAD + Windows versions. Language change was not possible.
    Solution: Corrected in v.2.0.1.

  • Open polylines and New 3D developable ruled surfaces generator engine
    Importance:

    Found by: Li R&D internal audit, after a technical question by Chris Jones, USA.
    Description: Bug does not produce erroneous developments but prevents some possible free patterns [with 3D developable ruled surfaces generator [free transitions] (see user manual on page 18).] to be calculated and developed [instead it gives a message that it is not possible to calculate them]. The particular case seems to take place when a polyline with arc segments is trimmed at an arc segment, being that segment the last of the resulting [trimmed] polyline.
    Solution: Corrected in v.2.0.1.

Version 2.0 [15th January, 2009]:

The new [2.0] version of LITIO, which is a jump forward in quality and sheet metal development capability, was issued.

Version beta 2.0 [26th September, 2008]:

  • Trim 3D for mirrored objects
    Importance:

    Found by: Li R&D internal audit
    Description: 3D objects generated by Litio 2.0 beta.0, if mirrored, will produce erroneous developments if trimmed 3D with a plane or with other 3D object.
    Solution: Do not MIRROR nor MIRROR3D objects created with LITIO 2.

  • Allowance for grooved joints

    Description: The “offset” contour might show, when the original development has sharp concavities, an overlapping.
